Privacy Policy for Rehearsely

In short: Rehearsely has no accounts and no server of its own. Your songs, setlists and markers stay on your device. I don’t collect your name, email address, contacts or location.
1. Data stored on your device
Your songs, setlists, markers, practice settings and any audio files you import are stored only on your device. Features such as Smart Add process your text on the device, and that text is never sent anywhere. If you use your device’s backup (iCloud on iOS, or Google backup on Android), this data may be included in your personal backup, which Apple or Google manages under their own privacy policies.
When you share a setlist, the App creates a file and passes it to the app you choose (for example a messaging app). It doesn’t go through any server of mine. Imported audio files are never included in shared setlists.
2. YouTube
Rehearsely uses YouTube API Services to play videos through the official YouTube embedded player. When you play a video, or when the App loads a video’s title and thumbnail, your device connects directly to YouTube. YouTube may collect information such as your IP address, device information and viewing activity. That collection is governed by:

3. In-app purchases
Purchases of Rehearsely Pro are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. I never receive your payment details. To check whether you have Pro and to restore purchases, the App uses RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). RevenueCat receives a random anonymous ID created by the App, your purchase history, and basic device information such as the operating system, app version, country and IP address. This data is not linked to your name or email address.
4. Crash reports and diagnostics
The App contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. If you’ve allowed it in your device settings, Apple or Google may share anonymous crash reports and performance data with me to help fix problems.
5. Data retention and deletion
Data on your device stays there until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Anonymous purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and Apple or Google for as long as they’re needed to provide your purchases. To ask for these records to be deleted, email me.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
